About Leigh Art Society

Leigh Art Society was founded nearly a decade ago. It was created for young people who love art by people who love art.

Each week we look at a different style of art, artist or art technique. We might explore watercolour techniques, or try to recreate the style of a particular artist.

​

Children are encouraged to try new ideas and experiment. All materials are provided and best of all, the children get to keep their artwork.

​

Our aim is to help budding young artists expand their artistic skills and knowledge - but most importantly to help them build their confidence and simply enjoy being creative.
